Outspoken MP, Kennedy Agyapong has vowed never to take any of his corporations or upcoming ones to a village.

The renowned businessman suggests accomplishing so is an exercise in futility as rural folk are double crossers.

Speaking in an unique interview with JoyNews’ Mamavi Owusu-Aboagye, Mr. Agyapong said the village people “are the most clever folks in terms of thievery.”

“The instant you set up the company in that village, they imagine you are silly. The villagers…you imagine you are likely to generate careers for them [but they think] you are stupid,” he said.

He added: “they will mess you up.”

He recounted a small business-absent-negative at Dida, close to Kumasi in the Ashanti region.

He mentioned a fish pond he had established up was haphazardly manned this, among other folks, he indicated, discouraged him about placing up companies to develop employment for village folk.

According to the Assin Central MP, “any person who needs to be serious in life” would go away the village for a greater city or city “and get started hustling.”

The people today in his village, for occasion, he explained are only hunting for handouts.

He stated he has quite a few factories coming up in Accra, and its adjoining parts, “if you are really serious, I would invite you from my village to occur and operate there.”
