The Transformation Leadership Panel (TLP), an initiative of the Africa Heart for Economic Transformation (ACET), have met to evaluate COVID-19 interventions in Africa.
They also shared lessons from their own establishments and look at new avenues for additional collaborative action in aid of Africa’s governments.
The Panel of 17 eminent persons, from the community, non-public, educational and charitable sectors in Africa and outside of, is chaired by Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, previous President of Liberia.
At its last meeting in February 2020 in Addis Ababa, the panel fully commited to charting a coordinated path to addressing Africa’s urgent economic challenges and this third conference will be an prospect for panelists to do just that.
“In my watch, the COVID-19 crisis presents a real opportunity to collaborate close to that mandate and demonstrate the full possible of the TLP,” said Dr. K.Y Amoako, Founder and President of ACET, and member of the TLP.
