The Coalition of Muslim Organisations (COMOG) has congratulated Justice Issifu Imoro Tanko on his appointment to the Supreme Court.
Justice Tanko was between four persons sworn-in by President Akufo-Addo some times in the past.
According to COMOG, it associates with the National Chief Imam’s Eid-Ul-Fitr message that the President’s final decision is centered on merit, muslims really feel tremendously indebted to him. They think Justice Tanko’s appointment will serve as an inspiration to a lot of up and coming Muslims to aspire to higher heights in the legal occupation.
The statement further claimed they express “profound appreciation to the president for appointing the initially Muslim, who has performed a pivotal role in the affairs of the Muslim group in Ghana to the Apex court of the land”.
