Prampram police must arrest killers of Samuel Kateynor – Relatives

The Kateynor relatives of Prampram has requested the Ghana Law enforcement Support to arrest suspects in the murder of their kin, 33-year-outdated Samuel Kateynor, who shed his everyday living in a capturing incident at Prampram.

In accordance to the Head of Family, the Prampram Police refused to just take the narrative of Samuel’s colleagues and boss but instead took that of Asafoatse Totimeh and his males, dismissing the assertion and proof that Samuel was allegedly shot by Asafoatse Totimeh and his adult men.

“He further accused Samuel and his colleagues for likely to attack Asafoates Totimeh rather in his dwelling, and that in an try to escape a reprisal assault from Asafoatse Totimeh and his guys, fell from the bike and died,” Mr. Kateynor stated.

Mr. Kateynor informed that the postmortem report signed by Main Superintendent Dr. O. Owusu Afriyie of the Police Medical center “confirmed the claim by Samuel’s colleagues that he was shot and that he died through haemorrhagic shock, critical upper body injury and gunshot at a distant range.”

He reported  the conduct of the Prampram Police in swaying the narrative in favour of the attackers of Samuel and his colleagues was a significant contributor to why the attackers had not been arrested.

He thus asked the law enforcement to extend their investigations to deal with the complete Prampram area on the routines of the alleged attacker of Samuel and his colleagues “and they will be stunned by the revelations they will uncover.”

When Ghana Information Agency (GNA) contacted the Prampram District Commander, Superintendent Issah Cantona, he knowledgeable that the case was at present at Accra and he was not the a single investigating.

He even so indicated that the allegations in opposition to him were being not accurate and that the deceased, Samuel Kateynor, was a landguard.

The deceased, who was also a livestock farmer, left at the rear of a pregnant spouse, 25-year-old Fatayeah Ibrahim, and three kids. He was buried on the Friday 22nd of Might, 2020 at Prampram.
