The Ghana Wellbeing Company (GHS) claims some of the in excess of 200 Ghanaians who returned from Kuwait about the weekend have analyzed beneficial for coronavirus.
Director of Community Health and fitness at the Assistance, Dr Badu Sakordie during a push briefing on Thursday explained he has been knowledgeable that some of the returnees have tested beneficial but will wait for official confirmation of the specific amount.
“There are indications that some of them have analyzed beneficial. We will abide by up and when we have the full report, we will share appropriately,” he reported.
Prior to this, assessments carried out on the returnees by Kuwaiti wellbeing officials have been detrimental.
The Director of Media and Communications for Procedure Covid-19 safety, Osei Bonsu Dickson who revealed this to JoyNews when they arrived in Ghana on Saturday, May 23, even so, indicated that another round of assessments would be carried out on them.
They are the initial batch of citizens resident abroad who have applied to be brought back again household following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
They arrived through a unique chattered flight at the cost of the Kuwaiti govt and are on a 14-working day mandatory quarantine as screening and exams are carried out.
