Dancehall artiste, Samini, has discovered that he has not earned dollars from Ghana because he produced his debut strike song ‘Linda’ in 2004.
“Lucky for me and some other individuals (artistes), we observed the vision and signed me onto some global selection societies and for the previous 12 several years I’ve gained some cheques from them,” he mentioned on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM.
Samini stated that lots of veterans in the music industry are suffering due to the fact they did not fight to set in location laws to guide their mental house.
He spelled out that their actions have long gone ahead to have an impact on the new era who are not receiving much in phrases of royalty.
“Can we now identify what we need and set it in coverage and supply to the office to focus on the forward?” he quizzed.
