Gals in Engineering Ghana (WinE- Ghana) has put together a proposal to re-engineer marketplaces in Ghana for Covid-19 interval and over and above. This proposal has been submitted to the Ministers of Nearby Government, Drinking water Means and Sanitation and Gender.
Members selected 3 markets in Ghana of which Ejisu sector in the Ashanti Area was portion to donate nose masks, Veronica buckets, sanitisers, soaps, tissue papers, and palm baskets and teach industry women on COVID-19 preventive actions and foods hygiene.
The proposal details how the present problem at the markets could be enhanced in terms of sanitation, infrastructure, meals cleanliness and places of advantage.
