Driver jailed for stealing church devices

A 28-yr-aged driver, who unlawfully entered a chapel and stole musical instruments, has been sentenced to two many years imprisonment by the Nkawie Circuit Courtroom.

Moro Suleman was stated to have entered the Energy Daily life Anointing Ministry Church at Mpatoam in the Amansie West District, and created absent with a keyboard, amplifier, mixture, curtains and other items in the Church.

He pleaded responsible to unlawful entry and stealing and was convicted on his individual plea.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Mr Sylvanus Dalmeida, explained to the court docket presided by Mr Johnson Abbey that, the complainant, Pastor Emmanuel Wiredu, was educated by a church member of the theft on May 28, this 12 months, at about 7:30 am.

DSP Wiredu stated the complainant went to the law enforcement station and recognized the products as all those of the Church.

Suleman admitted the offence in his warning statement and was for that reason, charged and introduced ahead of the courtroom.
