One man or woman has been verified lifeless after flooding around Odawna in Accra in Tuesday’s morning’s downpour.
This was confirmed by Lt. Col. Mfum from the 48 Engineers Regiment of the Ghana Armed Forces for the duration of an ongoing rescue mission by a joint crew of armed forces and the National Catastrophe Management Organisation (NADMO).
The group has since retrieved the human body of the deceased. He’s mentioned to have died by electrocution for the duration of the downpour.
About 20 persons have also been rescued so much, officers say.

The downpour, which lasted for several hours remaining men and women and merchandise in elements of the Kwame Nkrumah Circle Interchange and adjoining parts displaced.
Other places in the national capital badly influenced by the flooding contain Odaw, Avenor and Dansoman.
