The Jasikan District Police Station has had elements of its roof ripped off pursuing a rainstorm on Monday evening.
The most impacted aspect of the constructing was the office of the District Criminal Investigations Department (CID), the place all documents are kept.
When JoyNews visited the station on Tuesday early morning, paperwork were continue to soaked in drinking water.
Sources say the roof has been leaking for a whilst now but no measures have been taken to resolve right until the downpour.
The regional police commander, DCOP Paul Kwame Ayitey, informed JoyNews the leaking roof would be attended to straight away.
He also explained considering that the facility is a personal property, the landlord would have to get the initiative to fix the faculty parts of the building.
