Former Black Stars participant, Mohammed Polo has also spoken about the condition of the Ghana Leading League which was suspended in March 2020 due to the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in Ghana.
He appealed to the Ghana Football Association to disregard phone calls for the cancellation of the league time and keep until its conducive for football to return.
According to him, the league need to be canceled if its continuation will distort the FA’s calendar.
He instructed in the event that the period falls to the virus, the title need to be handed to the workforce at the summit of the league table.
“Permit wait due to the fact the year has not ended but let us see what the leaders will do and see if the league will be truncated or ongoing. If we see it will squander the time of the calendar then we prevent it from there and declare these who are leaders.”
