Fante songwriter and singer, Kofi Kinaata has emphatically mentioned that it will be around his dead entire body that he sings in the English language.
Talking to Abeiku Santana in an job interview on Ok FM, Kofi disclosed that, he does not see the explanation he should sing in English when Michael Jackson never sang in Fante.
Abeiku wondered if it’s since Kofi could not convey himself well in the English language.
” Why really should I trouble myself singing in a language that is not mine? Did Michael Jackson at any time sing in Fante? More than my lifeless entire body will I sing in English ” Kofi Kinaata responded.
