Board Member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Vincent Sowah Odotei has lost his celebration parliamentary seat to Joseph Gerald Tetteh Nyanyofio in the NPP primaries held on Saturday.

Sowah Odotei who is incumbent Member of Parliament for the La Dadekotopon Constituency missing to his near tender by 167 votes.

At the finish of the elections from 10 electoral regions, Gerald Nyanyofio recorded 543 votes, as Sowah Odotei came close with 376 votes whiles Ease and comfort Adjei Kotei acquired 46 votes out of the full 965 votes casted.

In 2016, the Hearts of Oak Board Member defeated the incumbent, Nii Amasah Namoale of the Nationwide Democratic Congress in the basic elections in a extraordinary style to turn into the new MP of the constituency.

Sowah Odotei was the deputy minister for communications in Ghana until eventually his appointment was terminated on April 6, 2020 by President Nana Akufo-Addo.
