The Deputy Director, Technical at the National Sports activities Authority (NSA) Saka Acquaye (Quaye) has died at the 37 Navy Medical center.
Acquaye passed on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, his daughter confirmed to Accra-primarily based Starr FM.
“Dad instantly collapsed on Tuesday whilst he had no clinical problems so we rushed him to the 37 Navy Clinic in which he was revived on arrival and then admitted.
“He asked for for food and we did accordingly, we put in someday chatting with him after he finished eating, he then reported he desired to slumber a bit since he experienced not slept significantly the preceding night time so we remaining only to return this early morning to be informed that he died last night,” the outlet quoted the unnamed daughter.
Quaye was a former nationwide swimmer as properly as a handball fanatic. He obtained a whole lot in the course of his times as a sportsperson and administrator at the Countrywide Sports Authority.
