Nigerian celebrities react to movie of alleged fraudster Hushpuppi’s arrest


The new video introduced by the Dubai law enforcement disclosing specifics of the arrest of Raymond Abass aka Hushpuppi has stirred reactions from Nigerian famous people.

Hushpuppi and his gang allegedly defrauded about 1.9 million victims, through bogus email messages and diverting payments to their account.

Dubai Police in the movie before unveiled reported the suspects were part of a ring that had executed a number of cons totaling up to $435.6 million

Some stars commenting on Hushpuppi’s arrest expressed shock at the large quantity of income concerned.

Rudeboy commenting on the movie via his Instagram web site explained the allegations in opposition to Hushpuppi as “scary.”

In Pidgin English, he wrote: “Abeg una listen to de amount of money of income? oh oh oh social media go kee this era.”

Other famous people such as Toolz of Defeat Fm, Uche Jombo, and MI Abaga also had one thing to say about his arrest.

Toolz wrote: “But two million victims wow!! Visualize someone experienced saved a nice sum for their retirement and its all long gone in a blink of an eye. Could drive somebody to suicide. Dubai employed Hushpuppi for promo video clip.”

Nollywood Actress, Uche Jombo on her Twitter web page wrote: “I just watched the Hushpuppi’s arrest video clip.

“It’s all entertaining and video game. Millions of family members and lives ruined, billions stolen.”

Rapper M.I Abaga was shocked the numer of victims Hushpappi had supposedly duped.
