The Ghana Football Affiliation has expressed gratitude to the government around its selection to let 3 nationwide teams start preparations for their respective assignments.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo introduced on Sunday that the Black Maidens, Princesses and Satellites could now go start off preparations for their Globe Cup qualifiers.

“Our female Beneath-20 and Under-17 nationwide football groups have been presented the clearance to go into their respective education camps to begin preparations in the direction of their FIFA and CAF-sanctioned intercontinental matches, which get started in September.”

The clearance now permits the handlers of the teams to mobilize the players for tenting.

Reacting to the announcement in an job interview with www.ghanaweb.com Communications Director of the Ghana Football Affiliation, Henry Asante Twum explained the news as welcoming.

He was reported his outfit was grateful to the President and Athletics Minister for granting their requests to have the teams prepare.

He confident that the preventive etiquettes suggested by the govt, FIFA and CAF will be strictly adhered to by the workforce.

Henry Asante Twum disclosed that plans for tenting will be firmed up in the coming days.

“We are grateful to our sector minister, the Covid-19 advisory staff and the President for agreeing to relax the limits and enable our girls and Black Starlets to resume camping. It’s for the great of the country. We will notice all the protocols”, he reported.

The Black Princesses will confront Guinea-Bissau in September in first round of the 2021 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualification.

Black Maidens will be in action in Oct when qualification for 2021 FIFA U-17 Women’s Globe Cup resume.
