Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Wiyaala has proven how complicated it is to turn out to be a prosperous musician in Ghana.
According to her, the insults and the ‘bring him down’ frame of mind of Ghanaians compels most musicians to cover in their shells, thus earning it difficult for them to shine.
In an special interview with GhanaWeb, Wiyaala stated that it can take confident and tons of resilience to continually continue to be appropriate in the new music field.
“It is incredibly really challenging to be a thriving musician in Ghana. Most people will have their opinion about you and if you are not powerful you will cover. The noise and the bashing Is just also considerably. Particularly with the Woman musicians, most of us are a little bit psychological and shy so the minimum insult gets to us. Ghanaians do not encourage just about every other,” she said.
She also included, the point that Ghanaians have cultivated the routine of not acquiring tunes, can make it tricky for them to excel in their tunes profession.
“Ghanaians don’t acquire tunes. They don’t. We really don’t acquire our royalties as nicely and its unhappy,” she advised Ghanaweb.
