There was drama at the Supreme Court on Thursday as renowned law firm Tsatsu Tsikata refused to argue the NDC’s evaluation of the voters’ sign up situation.
According to him, he experienced just been given files filed by the Electoral Fee (EC) and was consequently unable to argue the case.
The Supreme Court has ruled that the EC can compile a new register as it excluded the use of delivery certification and current voters card as evidence of identification.
The case was heard by Chief Justice Kwasi Anin Yeboah and Justices Jones Dotse, Paul Baffoe Bonnie, Sule Gbagegbe, Samuel K. Marful-Sau, Nene Amegatcher, and Professor Ashie Kotey.
But the NDC filed for a review of the choice with Justices Yaw Appau and Mariama Owusu signing up for the panel.
They also filed a ask for for the case to be listened to before than usual.
The court docket granted this ask for but Mr. Tsikata claimed he was not able to argue the scenario.
