Target of Baba Yara Stadium taking pictures incident, Augustine Oppong has insisted that he will not stop likely to the stadium when football returns in the state inspite of getting rid of eye.
It would be recalled that Augustine Oppong who is a staunch supporter of Kumasi Asante Kotoko missing his eye soon after a stray bullet fired by a policeman to management aggrieved admirers who charged at the match officers pursuing a dwelling defeat by the Porcupine Warriors versus Brekum Chelsea unintentionally hit his eye.
He was hospitalized at the Komfo Anokye Instructing Medical center and bought his lost eye replaced following a thriving surgery.
Speaking to Angel FM in Kumasi, he reiterated desire to go to match venues when soccer bounces back again in the state.
“I didn’t regret just after losing my eye due to the fact I appreciate the club a lot”
Asked if he will go to the stadium when the Ghana Premier League commences, he reported, “I will definitely go, even if I had shed my leg I would have hired a motor vehicle to the stadium” he said.
