Previous Minister of Youth and Sporting activities Elvis Afriyie Ankrah has broken his silence on the controversial $200 coconut he allegedly purchased through the 2014 Planet Cup in Brazil.
He said right after the allegations, a forensic audit was conducted by a person of the intercontinental audit companies but very little was identified from him.
The previous Minister produced the revelations in an job interview on Onua FM’s Ghana Dadwene hosted by Nana Yaw Opare on Monday, August 3.
“I survived forensic audit by Ernst & Younger and there was absolutely nothing like shopping for coconut for $200.”
He even further stated: “I was the only Minister who was place in public area for 4 months.
“I survived the forensic audit and you [NPP] are even worried of [Auditor General] Domelevo but I survived a forensic audit and nothing at all was identified on me.”
