The substantial priestess who led a mob that gruesomely murdered 90-yr-previous, Akua Denteh, in Kafaba in the Savannah Location has been arrested.
In accordance to a JoyNews report, the priestess, Sirina Fatima, was arrested at her hideout in Yeji in the Brong Ahafo area.
In a video clip sighted by Myjoyonline.com, the deceased, Akua Denteh was slapped, kicked and caned on July 23 immediately after the classic priestess accused her of currently being a witch.
In an interview, the Regional Law enforcement Commander, DCOP Enoch Adutwum Bediako mentioned the son of the deceased, Mahama Salami reported the incident to them about 4 pm just after his sister termed him around the occurrence.
DCOP Bediako reported based mostly on the significant beating the woman was subjected to by her assailants, she became unconscious and died.
He added that an inspection carried out on the overall body disclosed a slice on the forehead and bruises on the correct arm.

They are Haruna Aness – 34, Issifa Tanko- 35, Shaibu Muntala – 29, Sulemana Ali -35 and Issifa Zakyibo -32.
In the meantime, one of the suspects who allegedly played a job in the lynching was yesterday remanded by the Bole Magistrate Court.
