The Ghana Countrywide Affiliation of Academics (GNAT) has called on authorities to arrest learners who perpetrate violence from its associates facilitating the ongoing examinations in senior superior educational facilities across the region.

This follows disturbances perpetrated by some students around what some explain of strict supervision.
On Thursday, college students of Vibrant Senior Higher Faculty at Kukurantumi in the Eastern Area attacked officers of the West African Evaluation Council (WAEC) supervising the training.
A journalist with the Each day Graphic in the Area who had long gone to the school to report has also been assaulted by the college students leaving him with critical injuries.
Last yr students of the Tweneboa Kodua Senior Higher College in the Ashanti Region rioted on August 3 which resulted in the destruction of home in the course of the composing of the WASSCE Built-in Science paper.

“I would want the GES and other safety companies will have to arrive in and arrest folks they have to arrest for the reason that risk is also felony. We will not sit down for our member to be threatened,” she informed Evans Mensah August 4.
In the meantime, the Ghana Education and learning Provider (GES) has directed university authorities to deboardenise any university student founded to have been included in any of the shields and functions of vandalism during the interval.
