College students of Brilliant Senior High College at Kukurantumi in the Japanese Region have attacked officers of the West African Assessment Council (WAEC) supervising the ongoing WASSCE examination in their colleges.
A journalist with the Day by day Graphic in the Location who had long gone to the college to report has also been assaulted by the college students leaving him with critical injuries.
The angry college students allegedly smashed the telephones of the officials and hurt a person of them mainly because they are disappointed with rigid supervision during the examination.
They clashed with the officers over social distancing in the examination hall, insisting the invigilators have been as well demanding on them.
