Ethiopia Premier League aspect, Jimma Abar Jifar FC has been strike with a transfer ban by FIFA just after they failed to pay back Ghanaian goalkeeper Daniel Agyei his owed entitlements.
On 15 April 2020, FIFA’s Dispute Resolution Chamber judged that Jimma Aba Jifar are supposed to pay back Agyei a compensation for some breaches of his deal.
In accordance to the judgment handed on 15 April 2020, Jimma Aba Jifar were being asked to present documentary proof demonstrating that they have complied with their obligations.
The 2018 Ethiopian Premier League champions have because unsuccessful to post any documentation to confirm they have settled the previous Black Stars goalkeeper the owed entitlements.
Jimma Aba Jifar has been ban from registering any new players either nationally or internationally for the upcoming three transfer windows.
The aforementioned ban will be lifted promptly when the amount due Daniel Agyei has been fully paid out.
