An Accra Circuit Court has acquitted and discharged Akosua Agyapong, a Highlife Musician who was accused of conspiring with 1 Frank Agyemang to defraud a businessman of GH¢105,000.00 around a land offer.

Agyemang aka Killer Boss was also acquitted and discharged.

The Court presided around by Mrs Priscilla Mireku Dapaah in its ruling held that the prosecution was not able to demonstrate a prema facie case from Akosua and Agyemang.

According to the Courtroom, Prosecution could not also verify that the files covering the said land ended up forged.

It noted that the complainant just before buying the mentioned land knew the files covering the land was in the name of just one Dora Amoasi nonetheless went in advance and designed payments.

“Later Akosua launched Agyemang to Asamoah as her brother who experienced a plot of land reverse the West Hills Shopping mall for sale. The businessman just after inspecting the land confirmed fascination,’’ she stated.

DSP Boafo stated Akosua assured the businessman that the land was genuine and that Agyemang was the rightful operator.

She reported “They then took the businessman to the Lands Commission, went into one particular of the places of work and arrived out with a person who verified that the land in fact belonged to Agyemang, and on this, Asamoah grew to become convinced’’.

Prosecution reported immediately after the complainant paid out GH¢105,000.00 for the land and afterwards gave a Toyota RAV 4 vehicle valued at GH¢100,000.00 to Agyemang for one more plot of land.

She stated when Asamoah went to function on the land, one more human being arrived to declare possession of the land with paperwork.
