Former Ebusua Dwarfs head mentor Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah a has opened up on his choice to abandon coaching, proclaiming several variables together with inadequate officiating and absence of regard pressured him to quit.
Mintah, a previous Black Stars psychologist, has not been controlling any team considering the fact that he parted approaches with Ebusua Dwarfs in 2014. At the time, Mintah was a single of the highly-rated coaches in Ghana.
He went as far as starting to be the head coach of the Black Stars B and the assistant to caretaker Black Stars manager Maxwell Konadu.
In an interview with Rainbow Radio’s Sports Isaac Werlanyo Wallace, the University of Cape Coast lecturer underscored the want for stakeholders to locate ways to deal with the challenges so he can make a return to coaching.
He explained: ”Several variables compelled me out. The respect is not there when you are executing the ideal point, the recognition is not there.
All those are some of the troubles that made me leave. These times, officiating was incredibly inadequate. You put together your workforce pretty properly and then you are just booted out by seconds.”
If all all those points modify and we put in actions to tackle them, individuals will see me back. I can’t hold out to appear again,” he extra.
Prof Mintah applied for the vacant Ghana Football Affiliation (GFA) technical director task and is confident of remaining appointed.
