Chief Govt Officer of Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Mr Mohammed Adjei Sowah, has donated 50% of his August salary to market routines of the Affiliation of Sports activities for the Disabled (ASFOD) in Ghana.
Mr Sowah created the donation when Promasidor Ghana Confined, producers of Cowbell introduced some of their food stuff solutions to the Affiliation at the City Hall in Accra.
The presentation types element of the initiatives of the corporation to support members of ASFOD amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Accra Metropolitan Assembly CEO termed for the variety of investments into sporting activities to give equal awareness to every sporting activity in the nation and emphasised the great added benefits associated with sports activities the two medically and economically.

Mr Mohammed claimed 3 athletes from the Association had experienced for the Tokyo Olympic Online games, which experienced been postponed to 2021 and appealed for much more guidance to enable them to gain medals for the state.
He said given that the institution of ASFOD in 1995 its aim has been to use sports as an avenue where disabled folks could gain a living.
The Gatherings and Community Relations Supervisor of Promasidor Ghana Constrained Mr Gideon Kodo mentioned the presentation signified the company’s determination towards the promotion of sports in the region.
“Had it not been the outbreak of the Covid-19 the firm would have reintroduced the cycling match,” he included.
Mr Kodo pointed out that the story of Cowbell could not have been composed properly without the need of mentioning its contribution to athletics and was glad to help disabled athletics in the place.
He congratulated Mr Charles Narh for winning the ‘Man of Courage’ award at the 5th Exclusive Adult men of the 12 months Awards 2020 (EMYAfrica20) and was hopeful with the necessary assistance and engagement Ghana would deliver extra heroes.
