Shatta Wale has ultimately discussed to his buddy Sarkodie the trending news about the phony UN awards he and other celebrities, politicians, academicians and traditional rulers had been introduced with.

It came as a shock to quite a few Ghanaians who follow Sarkodie on social media why he had not reacted to the ongoing saga about the pretend awards when social media was rife with information and stories that the award he and other individuals had been presented with by Worldwide Public Excellence, headed by a person Dr Fordjour, was pretend.

The rapper has broken his silence on the situation. He wrote on his social media that Shatta Wale was on the cellular phone describing to him what had transpired.

He wrote, “Shatta Wale on the telephone outlining what essentially transpired with Mr UN. Ebe now I have an understanding of but we go.”

Sarkodie has given that deleted images of the awards from all his social media web pages.

Sarkodie is amid a record of notable Ghanaian stars, clergy, politicians, media gentlemen and females and classic rulers who were supplied numerous awards by a self-styled UN Ambassador, Dr Fordjour.

The faux award scheme which is titled the World-wide Blueprint Excellence Award was held final 7 days Friday, August 28, in Accra at the Alisa Lodge and was attended by a host of Ghanaian personalities and celebrities who have been recipients of the awards.

However, days after the awards, it came to the notice of Ghanaweb.com that the International Blueprint Excellence Award alleged to be in collaboration with the United Nations and Kofi Annan was a leading scam.

The evidence of the rip-off was uncovered on Twitter immediately after some tweeps who dug down to uncover what has come to be known as the most important award fraud of the 12 months.

Some of the notable persons that fell for this rip-off contain Television set presenter Berla Mundi, Natalie Forte, Johnnie Hughes, Dr Okoe Boye, Daughters of Wonderful Jesus, Nathaniel Attoh, SK Boafo, and a host of some others.
