A amount of communities in the North East Region have become inaccessible adhering to days of downpour and the subsequent spillage of h2o from the Bagre dam.
Sources say Chereponi, Kpasinkpe, and some other communities in the Mamprugu and Moaduru District cannot be accessed other than by Bolgatanga in the Higher East Location.
Also, the Adali Brigde in the Chereponi District has been damaged, producing it challenging for people in the spot to cross to other communities.Â
Speaking to JoyNews’ Eliasu Tanko, the North East Regional Director of the National Catastrophe Management Organisation (NADMO), John Kweku Alhassan said the problem has designed it extremely hard for the Organisation to produce relief things to most of the locals who have been trapped by the flood.
