Isaac Asiamah, the Minister of Youth and Sports activities has accused the Countrywide Democratic Congress of getting bereft of strategies and innovations.
On Monday, the NDC introduced its manifesto and designed some commitments to the athletics industry.
The John Mahama-led social gathering promised to develop leisure centres in all districts in the country and build a sports fund which will finance sporting activities in the region.
A revival of inter-schools’ sports activities and completion of the new Edubiase Stadium are but a couple of of the claims made by the NDC.
Addressing a gathering in his Atwima Mponua constituency, Isaac Asiamah said all the claims indicated in the NDC manifesto are now remaining executed by the govt.
Citing the Edubease Stadium and the sports activities fund, Isaac Asiamah said these initiatives are at different levels of completion.
He opined that if the NDC had capable individuals to tackle the sports sector the large attrition level of ministers recorded beneath their regime would not have happened.
The lawmaker urged Ghanaians to not to be wooed by the claims by of the NDC.
“Ghanaians can attest to the will work of the NPP. Even the NDC admitted that Akufo-Addo and Asiamah have performed every little thing when it will come to sports. What ever the NDC said in athletics, we are now undertaking it. They left the New Edubease Stadium in a poor form but we are doing work on it and growing it”.
“Our report is unprecedented. Even the athletics fund, we are currently doing the job on it. Winneba Sports activities is also getting turned into a superior-effectiveness centre. We have accomplished every little thing that they claimed in their manifesto. John Mahama suggests he will aid Ghanaian clubs that compete in Africa, we are currently doing that”, he reported amid claps and cheers from the crowd.
