Michael Essien has expressed his delight following becoming a member of the coaching personnel of Danish top-flight side, FC Nordsjælland in advance of the new season.
The 37-12 months-old’s appointment was declared today, turning out to be the second previous Ghana intercontinental following Laryea Kingston to land a coaching position at the club.
Laryea Kingston is the coach of FC Nordsjælland U-19 workforce.
In the meantime, in the 1st-group, he is the 2nd Ghanaian as former Asante Kotoko coach Mas Ud Didi Dramani is the assistant mentor.
“I am delighted to have joined FC Nordsjaelland coaching staff as part of my progress toward my full coaching license.”
“I will also be helping the gamers on and off the pitch as section of my job,” Essien wrote on Twitter.
