Assistant head coach of Goals FC, Winfred Dormon, has appealed to the govt and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to locate a way for soccer to return.
His comment follows the government’s limitations on make contact with sports as football followers eagerly anticipate the lifting of the ban on sports thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.
In a dialogue with Course Sports activities, Coach Dormon was self-assured that the COVID-19 precautionary measures will be strictly observed when soccer returns in Ghana.
“I think that we need to obtain a way to stay by this pandemic simply because it is in this article with us. Should we end football, really should we halt our life due to the fact of a virus?” he questioned.
In accordance to Coach Dormon, if the govt listens to “football people”, represented by the GFA, they will “definitely come across a way.”
“Our overall health is very critical, really do not get me wrong, but we also have to have our financial life again,” Mentor Dormon said.
He thinks that the GFA will put the vital actions in spot ahead of the start of the league.
The 2019/20 football year was initially halted in March due to outbreak of the coronavirus and was completely cancelled in June.
However, Ghana’s new football time is expected to begin in Oct matter to acceptance from the govt.
