President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Ahmad Ahmad has prolonged his congratulations to H.E. Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana, on his appointment as Chairman of the Financial Neighborhood of West African States (ECOWAS).

This was contained in a letter tackled to the President and dated, September, 14, 2020.

“It is my satisfaction to lengthen my congratulations to you on your appointment as the Chairman of the Economic Group of West African States (ECOWAS).

On behalf of the Government Committee of CAF and personally, I desire you just about every results in your endeavors. I am specified that through your Chairmanship, ECOWAS will maintain and accelerate its constructive and sympathetic contribution to African football.

As you embark on your new duties, I want to guarantee you and the persons of West Africa of CAF’s ongoing assist and friendship. I am sure that all through your presidency, ECOWAS will retain and accelerate its constructive contribution to African football. Kindly accept, Mr. President, once yet again my warm congratulations on your appointment and my very best needs as you put together to choose up the duties and troubles of your significant office” the letter examine.

President Nana Adoo-Dankwa Akufo Addo was on Monday, September 8, 2020 elected as the new Chairman of ECOWAS at the 57th ECOWAS Summit, held in Niamey, Niger. He replaces Nigerien President, Muhamadou Issoufour who steered the activity of the Authority for a 12 months.
