Some players of the feminine senior countrywide team, the Black Queens are protesting for their unpaid bonuses from the 12 months 2015.
The gamers are requesting for an quantity of $12,000 owed them by the Sports Ministry adhering to their participation in intercontinental assignment.
According to a member of the workforce, Nana Ama Asantewaa, they have determined to stay at the Ministry right until their calls for are met.
“We are not leaving the Ministries these days. We introduced our mattresses and are all set to rest here until our bonuses are compensated. We are owed from 2015/16,” Nana Ama Asantewaa explained to Pure FM in Kumasi.
It is thought that the quantity is an accumulation of numerous bonuses owed the players for their engagements in different qualifiers.
The Black Queens have not performed any international activity considering that the WAFU Cup of Nations in Ivory Coastline.
In the meantime, international assignments slated for the this 12 months has been postponed due to COVID-19.
