Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has jabbed the flagbearer of the opposition Nationwide Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama for refusing to acknowledge that dams have been built by the Akufo-Addo authorities.

Reacting to this, Dr Bawumia said, “If he [Mr Mahama] goes to his constituency which is Bole, he will see that we have produced about 10 dams, so if he suggests he does not see the dams in the Northern areas that suggests he is not touring his individual constituency.”
According to the Vice President, 435 dams have been built in many components of the five Northern Locations and extra are underway.
