The Black Satellites of Ghana will get a reward of $100,000 from the govt for winning the WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship held in Benin.
The Black Satellites defeated the Youthful Stallions of Burkina Faso by 2-1 in the remaining to win the title on Saturday.
Ghana arrived from behind to conquer Burkina Faso with objectives by the captain of the facet Daniel Afriyie Yeboah and Precious Boah who scored two targets in the event.

Speaking on behalf of the Minister for Youth and Sporting activities, Mr. Oteng, the Main Accountant, assured the team of a particular bundle to be given out by the authorities.
“Ghana is proud of you and so is the Sports activities Minister. Congratulations on this great feat and be confident that anything due you will be presented to you,” Oteng advised the players and the technological workforce.”
“The Minister has asked we notify you that the package that was presented to the workforce for successful the 2017 WAFU Tournament is the very same that will be offered to you.”
The Black Satellites have booked a place in following year’s Africa U-20 Cup of Nations event to staged in Mauritania.
