Asante Kotoko CEO, Nana Yaw Amponsah, insists sacking coach Maxwell Konadu was a miscalculation.

The previous assistant Black Stars coach was sacked following Kotoko’s defeat to Excellent Olympics in the Ghana Premier League.

The conclusion to clearly show Konadu the exit door was a sole one taken by the CEO, who admits it was a error and should really have knowledgeable other board associates.

“I created a error for sacking Maxwell Konadu mainly because I did not formally create to notify the board,” he instructed Oyerepa FM.

“I confess I am incorrect and I settle for that. Maxwell Konadu’s data at Kotoko was not terrible but it was time for him to go and other large golf equipment in the globe have finished that but I once again acknowledge I was erroneous for not informing the board.”

The Porcupine Warriors have experienced a tough start off to the period and are possible to exit the CAF Champions League right after suffering a first-leg property defeat to Al Hilal of Sudan.

Coach Johnson Smith is now serving as an interim gaffer as the club appears to be for a substitute for Maxwell Konadu.
