Nyame Newton releases new anthem for Asante Kotoko insists it is improved than Hearts’ anthem

Charles Yaw Nyame Newton, a diehard enthusiast of Ghana Leading League (GPL) giants Asante Kotoko, has released a morale driving club anthem for his darling club, a track that arguably beats arch rivals Accra Hearts of Oak’s famous club anthem “Arose! Arose.

The tune titled “We Are The Magnificent Boys” was composed by Charles Yaw Nyame Newton, a staunch fan of the Porcupine Warriors who has supported the Kumasi centered club because his infancy.

The tune which is sung in English is encouraged by the point that the arch rivals of Asante Kotoko, Accra Hearts of Oak have their formal club anthem sang in English and the followers of the Accra based aspect have usually teased Asante Kotoko of not getting any good song with English lyrics. According to Charles, his track which is composed totally in English will place a halt to such teasing from enthusiasts of Accra Hearts of Oak.

Talking to ghanasportspage.com, the “Honhom Kronkron” composer stated that the intent of the music “We are The Fantastic Boys” is to ginger the gamers of the club and its teaming supporters to come out victorious in any competitors the club competes in.

He thinks the emergence of this track marks the starting of one more profitable era for his darling club. Some of the lyrics of the music contain the adhering to:

According to the composer Charles Newton, his song beats Accra Hearts of Oak’s well known “Arose, Arose”. It is of public expertise that even many followers of Asante Kotoko such as some of the club’s officers are potent admirers of the “Arose, Arose” tune, but Charles thinks if not.

“When I was a kid, if you pay attention to the Arose, Arose then your hearts begins to conquer. We thank Mr Pat Thomas for composing a very great Twi song for Asante Kotoko. When I was a child our fellows have been teasing us that you Kotoko do not have an English track, and now God has helped us to come out with this one”, he narrated.
