The NDC MPs offered what it explained as proof of rigging to the envoys.
The meeting with the American and British associates was held at Parliament on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, led by Minority Chief Haruna Iddrisu and Second Deputy Speaker Alban S.K. Bagbin.
The Minority caucus “introduced proof and the foundation for the NDC’s rejection of the numerous effects declared by the EC for the presidential contest and the dubious parliamentary declarations particularly in Techiman South and Sefwi Wiawso.”
The MPs said that the govt used forces in brutalising regular citizens in the course of the elections which were designs to rig the elections top to the dying of unarmed civilians who went to work out their elementary human rights.
In the meantime, the presidential applicant of the NDC, John Mahama, has submitted a petition at the Supreme Court seeking an annulment of the election.
Among the other issues, he is looking for an annulment of the result declared by the Electoral Fee on December 9, 2020.
