Afro-Fusion Singer and Songwriter, Gyakie, has damaged the silence on why she did not element any musician on her ‘Seed’ EP produced late very last year.
In an job interview with Y102.5FM’s NYDJ on the ‘Ryse N Shyne’ clearly show, she disclosed, “The seed EP is an introductory EP. It is an introduction of myself. It is a compilation of 5 tunes and that is why I did not aspect anybody on it.
When you hear to the EP, you are meant to understand my sound and fully grasp the sort of new music I am capable of carrying out as an artiste”.
Gyakie, while admitting to the fact that some tracks on the EP had a semblance to Hip-hop new music, noted that she had not veered off from her common fashion of music.
She clarifies: “It is all part of being multipurpose as an artiste. I have not made the decision to develop into a Hip-hop artist. I read the beat, vibe to the flow and that is it. It is all element of Gyakie currently being versatile”.
The ‘Seed’ was introduced back in August 2020. The five-monitor EP has tunes like Joy and Happiness, Eternally, Vacation, Whine and The Journey which have all enjoyed large airplay.
