Nana Romeo is the host of AccraFM’s mid-morning display
Nana Romeo, host of AccraFM’s mid-morning present ‘Ayeeko Ayeeko’, has named on the authorities to go a legislation that will make it necessary for possible couples to endure a mental wellbeing evaluation.
This, according to the Ayeeko Ayeeko clearly show host, will control the level of spousal and domestic abuse in the region.
Reacting to the the latest experiences of domestic violence in the state on his clearly show, Nana Romeo mentioned:
“Before a male and a woman get married in Ghana, there should really be a law that would make it compulsory for both equally to see a psychologist, just after counseling, to study the state of intellect of the few just before they are allowed to get married. Probably, the person has a psychological challenge, or maybe the lady has a psychological trouble.”
According to Nana Romeo, there are heaps of properly-suited mentally-challenged males and women roaming the streets of the region and, so, this kind of legislation will help maintain the lives of the citizenry.
“If they really don’t do that and just let them to get married, the end result will be what we’re looking at now: someone has killed the spouse or the husband. There are lots of madmen and girls roaming the streets of our place but simply because we’re dressed in suits and ties that’s why we don’t see them.
“You’ll see someone have a wonderful marriage ceremony and in just a few times, months, a long time later, you will listen to that they’ve killed their husband or wife and then you are going to ponder how it took place. So, I plead with the government to pass a legislation to make it compulsory for all to go by psychological health and fitness evaluation before they are authorized to get married so that all these violence and crime dedicated right after marriage will end,” he appealed.
