The Beach Soccer Affiliation and the Ghana Football Affiliation (GFA) have settled their distinctions just after an initial impasse relating to the withdrawal of the Black Sharks from the qualifiers.
Ghana’s beach front soccer national team were being scheduled to participate in Uganda in the 2020 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier but later observed out they had withdrawn from the competitors.
Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, who is the president of the Seashore Soccer Affiliation described the scenario as treason. Ankrah only heard of the news from their counterparts Uganda and expressed his disappointment at Kurt Okraku and his administration.
Following a very long conference on Monday, both functions termed a truce and admitted that there ended up communication gaps which resulted in the unfortunate incident.
Talking to Pleasure Sporting activities, Ankrah claimed there have been some positives from the assembly and he’s positive this condition will not repeat by itself.
“The positives we can get from is that we have arrive to the summary that this will have to not transpire once again. Communication broke down entirely and I have to consider duty for that regrettable circumstance. The FA has also admitted that there was a gap in the conversation. We have to make positive that sponsors and the opportunity sponsors have to be confident that this will not take place again.”
Ankrah included that the affiliation has fulfilled the seashore soccer team and conveyed the message together with the way forward.
“We’ve just achieved the team at the beach and conveyed the information to them. We have confident them that we will continue to fight for them and will make sure that their passions are guarded.”
The condition signifies that the Black Sharks have now unsuccessful to participate in the final two beach AFCONs with their previous physical appearance coming in 2016.
