Sonnie Badu advised KML in an interview on Joy Key that he wrote a thesis and handed with flying colours before he was awarded his honorary doctorate.
“(To obtain) an honorary doctorate, you have to confirm that you are worthy of it. They do not just give it to you if the university is credible. I do not know how it is performed in Africa.”” he explained to KMJ on Joy Key.

Sonnie continued that he had to do a bachelors and masters to gain the honorary doctorate right after he been given an honorary doctorate for his Christian ministry but did not mention how lengthy it took to full the bachelors and masters.
“I desired to do one thing pertaining to ministry (to purchase the diploma) so I started off operating on my bachelors in Ministry and masters in Christian Management. Now, there’s something known as ‘field of expert’. I have completed Ministry for 28 many years.”
