Saglemi Housing: Directive for validation would not signify Ghana Establishment of Surveyors’ report is inappropriate – Dr Amaglo

President of Ghana Establishment of Surveyors, Dr John Amaglo has reassured the validity its report on the Saglemi Housing Job report carried out by his outfit.

Dr Amaglo in an job interview with JoyNews’ indicated that results of the institution’s report would be reaffirmed by the Architectural and Engineering Companies Limited (AESL) soon after its audit on the directive of the Housing Minister.

“As a professional institution and I will repeat it right here yet again that our integrity is at stake below so I can say that any work that emanates from the establishment can be validated by any other institution that has the potential to validate our reviews.

“Any establishment that has the capability to get hold of the report and do the unbiased audit and I am expressing that they will come to the exact same locating that we have in the report,” he explained to Emefa Apawu.

His comments stick to a directive by Housing Minister, Asenso Boakye to (AESL) to validate a report by the Ghana Establishment of Surveyors with regards to the Saglemi Housing Undertaking and advice appropriately.

The venture has stalled due to the fact the Nationwide Democratic Congress (NDC) remaining place of work in 2016.

But the discussion around the facility was reignited when a video clip by ACP flagbearer, Hassan Ayariga went viral exactly where he was read lamenting the state of the web-site when soliciting for its mass profession in protest.

Talking on Prime Story Tuesday, Dr Amaglo disclosed that the call for an audit by Mr Asenso Boakye in no way places the status of his outfit into disrepute, neither does it imply the claimed report is “inappropriate.”

“The point that the Honorable Minister asked for AESL to validate our report does not signify our report is not suitable or is tainted with any political misconception. Any political establishment that is striving to examine this challenge will occur to only one summary. Because the difficulties are on the floor,” he apprised.

In accordance to him, the report submitted by the Ghana Institution of Surveyors had to be carried out from scratch owing to the issue in accessing relevant documents from AESL – the firm now tasked to operate an audit on the institution’s Saglemi Housing Undertaking report.

“It is only fair to say that our report suggests some thing about the Architectural and Engineering Solutions Restricted. They have been the unique consultants for the project and for that make a difference. When we were being given the go forward to do the challenge audit, we located it tricky in accessing some of the documentations we need, so we had to go and do anything from the scratch,” he stated.

“So if our report will go to the same entity to validate our report, I will not have just about anything to say but there should be a reason driving sending our report to an entity which is element of the first challenge for validation,” he added.
