The chairman of the defunct Ghana Football Association’s Normalization Committee, Dr. Kofi Amoah has spoken against the government’s shift to invest $25 million in the Black Stars AFCON and FIFA Entire world Cup strategies in 2022.

In accordance to the Ghanaian business enterprise magnate, it will be wrong for the government to make investments $25 million in the Black Stars at the price of the local league competitions and grassroots soccer as the upcoming of Ghana football is dependent on its progress.

Dr. Kofi Amoah’s responses occur on the again of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s conference with corporate Ghana previous week to solicit for $15 million after pledging $10 million for the Black stars ahead of their 2022 earth cup qualifiers and AFCON.

He argued that as a substitute of pumping revenue into the Black Stars for brief effects which is not even feasible in the future AFCON, the authorities should somewhat spend the cash into grassroots soccer to develop a reliable group in the long run.

“No! Strengthen your regional league, starting off from juvenile soccer, Samuel Osei Kuffour, Michael Essien all of these persons, this is the place they obtained their power.”

“When the Germans observed that their soccer is heading down they explained time out, we need to have to think, it took them 11 a long time but they received the earth cup in Brazil.”

To him, Ghana can even assemble a group to earn the FIFA Environment cup if we spend in grassroots football with the appropriate strategy simply because we are blessed with the abilities.

“Ghana can get the entire world cup because we have the skills but the corporation of the strategy is the completely wrong just one and I hope that my pals at the Ghana football affiliation (GFA) are not likely to be indignant with me and fix it,” he informed Citi Television in an interview.
