Accompanied by Madam Justina Owusu-Banehene, the Bono Regional Minister, and some vital personnel of the Ministry, Dr Prempeh also inspected a 100-acre land secured by the Social Stability and Countrywide Insurance Belief (SSNIT) in the Municipality.

She expressed fascination in the SSNIT land located at Baakoniaba, a Sunyani suburb, and added the Ministry would discuss with the Believe in and receive parts of the land to start the development of the housing units in the Municipality.

Dr. (Mrs.) Prempeh indicated traders were being ever-ready for the housing project but regretted land litigations in areas of the country impeded the Ministry’s efforts in getting the demanded amount of lands for the project.

The Ministry, she added had currently visited and secured lands in Tamale, Koforidua, Duayaw-Nkwanta, and Yamfo in the Ahafo region, and expressed the hope other standard authorities would supply lands in their respective places for the venture.

On her section, Mad Owusu-Banahene instructed the Ghana News Company (GNA) the cost-effective housing challenge was laudable for the reason that it would allow public sector staff to possess homes, and greatly help employees to also accept putting up to provide in rural communities.
