The new MCE in his acceptance speech thanked the President for the confidence reposed in him to serve the people of the Municipality.

He gave the assurance he’ll work hand in hand with the immediate past MCE John Kofi Donyina in embarking on various projects initiated by the outgoing MCE for the betterment of the Techiman Municipality.

“We have a collective duty, a duty which should see no barrier and devoid of partisanship to involve all stakeholders in our effort to serve the people of the Municipality.

I therefore humbly call on all those who have a stake and capacity in the development of the Municipality to eschew any personal and partisan interest and bring their competencies on board for services to improve the lives of our people,” he stated.

Today, we have a new MCE and our expectation is that Nananom gives him the freedom and liberty that would enable him to pursue his agenda as a Municipal Chief Executive so that his dreams and objectives of bringing the arena of the government into reality can be fulfilled,” he added.
