The ruling by the Nigerian Trademark Tribunal, said that Nworah and GCM Giant Creative Media Limited are the rightful owners of the trademarks; Shanty Town and Scar.
Tribunal grants Chinenye Nworah ownership of Shanty Town over Ini Edo
In a double intellectual property petition filed by Ini Edo and Minini Empire Productions Limited (MEP) on January 10, 2024 against Chinenye Nworah and her production company, GCM Giant Creative Media Limited, over trademark rights relating to the popular Netflix series, Shanty Series, Nworah came out victorious.
