At least 272 Ghanaians have participated in the Russia-Ukraine war since 2022, with 55 confirmed dead and two currently detained as prisoners of war, according to Ukrainian officials. The figures were disclosed to a Ghanaian delegation led by Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa during a recent visit to Ukraine.
