Wife of Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie, Tracy Sarkcess has launched her maiden women empowerment project, christened ‘BRAVE’
Project BRAVE seeks to empower brilliant young women from underserved and underprivileged communities in Ghana.
The mother of two indicated that the project she had been working on for over a year, will create opportunities for beneficiaries “to elevate” themselves in order to attain their highest potentials.
Making the announcement on social media, Tracy stated that through BRAVE, she hopes to “create career opportunities into leadership roles” for qualified young women.
She also noted that BRAVE will change the narrative of the “vicious cycle of socioeconomic hardships” and “low practical job skills”.
To change the narrative, she said young women require “real socio-economic inclusion” with “a strong emphasis on creating opportunities.”
She called on interested persons to look out for upcoming events and programs lined up via the official website and social media handles.
